The schedule for the 2011-12 2nd Quarter of Monday classes are as follows:
9 - 9:10 am - Arrive, Sign in, meet and greet
9:10 - 9:25 am - Proverbial Way
Everyone gathers for a time of prayer, pledges and interactive Bible Study. Each family will take a turn in leading this exciting way of learning to always put God first!
9:25 - 10:25 am - Classes* Begin & Mom's Connect
NURSERY: Newborn-2**
PRESCHOOL: 3-4 year olds**
ART: 5-7 year olds
HISTORY: 8-12 year olds
SERVANTHOOD: 13-up
While the moms are connecting, students ages 13-up will be learning that after putting God first, others are second. Whether watching the children in nursery or helping to teach a preschool or elementary class, students will learn that true greatness according to The Word is to become a servant of all.
MOM'S CONNECT:
Having a built in time where moms can connect and encourage one another while keeping Christ the center, is of utmost importance. Prayer, listening to The Word and each other during this time will set each one on the right course for the rest of the day.
*Science, Phys Ed, Art, Etiquette, History, Literature, Speech and Debate, SAT Prep and Reading Readiness are among some of the courses that will be taught by teachers who are not only well versed in their subject matter, but more importantly, love the Lord, love children, love to teach and understand the homeschool lifestyle.
**Nursey & Preschoolers do not leave their classrooms except Preschoolers at lunch/recess.
10:25 - 10:35 am - Break/Snack
SCIENCE: 5-7 year olds
ART: 8-12 year olds
WRITING: 13-up
MOM'S VOLUNTEER:
Mom's Volunteer throughout the day. Duties may include: coordinating sign-in, proverbial way, or volunteer scheduling; assisting a teacher; lunch and/or recess supervision; clean up.
11:35 am - 12:30 pm -
LUNCH/RECESS: Preschool & 5-7 year olds
SCIENCE: 8-12 year olds
LIFE SKILLS: 13-up
12:30 - 1:25 pm-
HISTORY: 5-7 year olds
LUNCH/RECESS: 8-up
1:30 pm -
